This powerpoint presentation should take
about 15 minutes depending on your edits and delivery. You can
customize the presentation to your situation with some changes
suggested in the speaking notes (use notes to view to access). You
can edit (add, delete, change) text boxes, pictures and slides. Low
resolution pictures are sufficient for presentations and will allow
the presentation to run faster. |
Presentation content is the same as the
basic presentation; however, some of the slides with a longer
message (speaking notes) have slide overlays that will change the
picture 2 or 3 times while speaking to that slide. The script
contains cues suggesting where you can manually change to the next
picture (same as changing to next slide). Since this uses overlays
it is more difficult to edit pictures (but it can be done). |

An altered form of the Basic Presentation
that was given to the Minister responsible for Alberta Community
Development on August 8th, 2004. |
Well it was prepared for the presentation
to Council, but I must admit, I really altered the presentation when
I got there. This shows how you can (and should) add in relative
information to your centre when presenting to your MLA or Council
members. I've added some slides and combined a couple of slides. It
is significantly different than the basic presentation, especially
the speaking notes. |

These are some additional slides that you
might want to add to your presentation or use for questions. A blank
slide template is included if you wish to use this to make up your
own slide. |
